Description

L-729 is a solution coated epoxy prepreg with superior mechanical properties. It is a versatile “general purpose” product. L-729 is available on fiberglass fabrics such as 281 and 285 styles of aramid fabric or other styles as requested.

Advantages of L-729
  • Both flexural and compressive strength are outstanding with L-729. This system provides the advantages of solution coating (as opposed to hot melt) and is used in various commercial applications.

  • Standard Weight: 0.070 lbs/ft2 (341 g/m2)
  • Standard Resin Content: 50% by weight
  • Volatile Content: 5% maximum
  • Standard Tack: Medium
  • Cured Ply Thickness: 0.010” (0.254 mm)
 Availability
  • Up to 60” width in rolls up to 100 yards long (152 cm x 91 m)
Shelf Life
  • 6 months at 40°F (4°C) or below
  • 7 days at Room Temperature (70°F or 21°C)
Cure Cycles
  • 60 minutes at 250-275°F (121-135°C)
