Description
L-304 is a thin film adhesive utilized to increase the interlaminar peel strength of multiple ply laminates or surface-core interfaces in honeycomb sandwich panels. By interplying with L-304, the designer can greatly enhance the impact properties of laminates composed of relatively brittle materials such as carbon fiber with epoxy matrices.
Advantages of L-304
  • L-304 is a high-toughness adhesive which can improve the fracture toughness of brittle carbon / epoxy components.
  • L-304 improves peel strength of phenolic prepregs when bonded to honeycomb core.
  • The ultra-light weight film adhesive, L-304 gives a tenacious bond for increased mechanical strength and damage tolerance without a weight penalty.
  • L-304 is formulated to meet FAA vertical and OSU burn requirements for aircraft interiors.
